The RTEA culture and values bring strong technical acumen with the proven track record for project delivery. We take pride in delivering top quality service to all of our customers and be responsive to their needs. Below are awards that our principal engineer has received on the projects discussed in the Project Experience tab on this website.
"You did an excellent job on both projects. The Brea Canyuon project was finished iwthin its two year construction schedule.... The Nogales project was finished within a few months of its schedule notwithstanding about a six month delay...
...Keeping schedules on these projects was a major accomplishment in light of the many third parties whose work needed to be integrated into the contractor's schedule.
Both projects were comleted with less than 10% in change orders. This is an accomplishment in its own right but is especially impressive in the case of Nogales where a contractor claim over the railroad bridge was accommodated with a 9.5% change order total."
Rick Richmond, former ACE Construction Authority Chief Executive Officer
"Regina's work experience with ACE began in 2002. She was responsible for managing the budget and maintain schedule for some of the largest projects in our program. Her trench and grade separation projects include management of construction or design of retaining walls, shoring, roadway, AC and PCC Paving, sidewalks, landscaping, irrigation, sewer and storm drain conveyance systems, pump stations, falsework, bridge structures, railroad bridges, lighting, traffic control in addition to wet and dry utility relocations and new service feeds.
"Regina was faced with challenges on her project; yet has always provided high quality of work with the ability to have strong project delivery. She has a proven track record with delivering high profile transportation projects on time and within budget in a safe manner."Sharon Neely
SCAG Chief Deputy Executive Director
(former ACE Dir. of Transportation & Government Relations)
"Regina has worked in the capacity of both resident engineer for construction management and design project manager for ACE Construction Authority.....
....The quality of work has been exemplary. Regina has repeatedly demonstrated her ability to deliver a project on time and on budget "
A.Victoria Butler, ACE Program Manager & Project Controls Manager
"Regina did an outstanding job on the emergency project and looked out for the safety of the public in addition to stakeholders, businesses and residents. Regina was responsible to coordination with the California Department of Fish and Game, Regional Water Quality Control Board and the implementation of enivronmental mitigation measures within the Area of Potential Effect of the bridge demolition within an active waterway."Mohan Char, former AECOM VP of Transportation
"Based on my experience with you we hired you in January 2008 to become one of our Senior Project Managers and assigned our largest single project -- the San Gabriel Trench -- to you. During your 2-1/2 year tenure you brought this complicated and visible project from concept plans to substantially designed, developed a full EIR/EA with a significant Section 106 (historic preservation) component and engaged in extensive negotiations with the Union Pacific Railroad for the necessary right of way and construction agreements. This required effective oversight of a large design team coordination of numerous utilities and specialty subconsultants and extensive interaction with permitting/approval agencies. You kept the project moving at a quick pace through the difficult early design stages. You also contributed to our agency's overall performance as we developed more standardized procedures, practices and guidelines applying to all our projects."
Rick Richmond, former ACE Construction Authority Chief Executive Officer
