RT Engineering & Associates, (RTEA), supports the California Rail Builders Team with Utility Project Management & Design Services for Utility Conflict Resolutions for AT&T facilities.  Services include design of 60%, 90% & RFC plans for AT&T conflicts within the 22 mile project.  Regina Talamantez is responsible for managing utility agreements, coordination, management of designers, scheduling, potholing and derivation of resolution of utility conflicts with proposed structure designs and rail design wtihin the High Speed Rail Project and BNSF facilities.

June 2016 - April 2017
Regina Talamantez, RT Engineering, was hired as Resident Engineer on this difficult grade separation project.  The original RE retired for personal reasons and Regina regained confidence with the General Contractor, mitigated key claim issues and notice of potential claims, proposed and received acceptance on implementing the use of a railroad shoofly and consideration of different ground improvement systems on the project.  Agreed with reassigning staging of the project in accordance with expediting the project.

OCT 2017 - RTEA served as RE on this project from Oct 2016 - Apr 2017 for the ACE Construction Authority within the City of Diamond Bar and Industry. The project included new conveyance storm drain systems, new on ramps and retaining walls on Lemon Avenue with the demolition and removal of Brea Canyon Road On/Off Ramps onto Golden Springs.

RT Engineering & Associates, Inc. (RTEA) is proud to support Biggs Cardosa & Associates, Inc. with constructability review and scheduling services during the preliminary engineering & final design of the LACMTA Rosecrans/Marquardt Grade Separation project.

The BCA/HNTB team will be providing professional engineering services including development of alternatives; the necessary environmental documentation for the project; Preparation of Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E), and right of way engineering for the construction of the Rosecrans/Marquardt grade separation; and Bid and Design support during construction.

RTEA has been waiting 4 years for these contracts and we are happy to announce that we've been successful in winning the SANDAG Construction Management On Call Contracts for the next 5 years! RTEA is a sub to AECOM and CALTROP for the large contracts ($10M - $60M) in addition to serving as a sub to ATHALYE Consulting and EPC Consulting for the small contracts ($500k - $5M)! Wahoo!!!!!

(RTEA) provides Atkins with support personnel on various construction projects in the Imperial Valley in District 11.  Services include: claims preparations & analysis, assistant resident engineers, swppp, office engineers, administration and inspectors.



December 2014

RT Engineering & Associates, Inc. (RTEA) supports Vali Cooper & Associates, Inc. (three separate contracts) with the construction management services for Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) for traffic signals at various locations within the City of South Gate.  The projects will add a left turn phase at 4 intersections; improvements on those intersections- ADA ramps, curb and gutter, pedestrian countdown heads, striping and signing; Safe Route to Schools and State Street park Improvements.

Services provided include contract administration, construction observation/inspection, utility coordination, labor compliance, material testing services and project close-out services, in accordance with the LAPM.

We are proud to support Griffith Company on the LA Metro Universal City Pedestrian Bridge with Public Outreach services!  Coordination between the pedestrian ridership on Metro transit, businesses,  Universal Studios & television sets should be an integral part of our responsibilities on this project.  $27M construction costs and will be a 2 year duration.  This is a fine example of partnering relationships in the past make a difference of doing business in the future!  I thank Griffith Company for this teaming opportunity.

RT Engineering & Associates, Inc. (RTEA) is supporting Biggs Cardosa & Associates, Inc. (BCA) on the preliminary engineering & final design of Fullerton Grade Separation project.  RTEA provides BCA with utility coordination, constructability review and value engineering services on this contract.

RT Engineering will be supporting Caltrop, Parsons and Southstar with program/project management support services for Caltrans District 8 on the SR-91, SR-58, SR-395 and various projects within Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.

RT Engineering shall perform professional and technical program/project management support services required on an "as-needed" basis for Department of Transportation Caltrans.
